Will leaving my cell phone (LG Venus) plugged in after charge is complete cause any damage?
The guy at the Verizon store said I should only leave my phone plugged into a wall charger for 2 hours and a car charger for 1 hour. Or else I would be overcharging it.
Will this really damage it? Or reduce the time the battery holds a charge?
No. Today’s batteries and chargers are designed to prevent overcharging. This was more a problem with rechargeable batteries years ago, but the LG Venus and any other phone from the last 3 or so years is smart enough to stop charging once the battery is full.
