A long quest for free cell phones online
I’ve got an 2006 Moto Razor and my contract with AT&T is about to expire so I started looking for a new free phone. I haven’t decided if I should change my wireless serice but I’m looking at T-Mobile and Verizon as possible choices. I have my eye on a higher-end phone such as smart Droid Motorola or one of the newest models Blackberry and I have to figure someone is selling these for free (naturally along with your new service activation). After all, just search Google for free cell phones and you’ll find that there are over 93 million results! Well, after doing a few searches myself, it became quite obvious that there are a LOT of different choices from scores of websites advertising free cell phones. There are so many websites offering so many different free cell phone deals that it’s easy to get confused.
Reputable free cell phone dealers
After spending a significant amount of time (approximately 120 minutes) After looking into the many internet stores and the associated cell phone offers, I selected a only a few online retailers for my final decision. Wirefly should be included in the ranks of trusted retailers in my opinion.com, LetsTalk.com and Amazon.com, as well as some of the big box retailers like BestBuy and RadioShack. Unfortunately, among the many website that tout this the majority of them are affiliate sites that serve only to redirect your business towards of the major name providers. (such as Wirefly or LetsTalk). “800 mobiles”, “you nevercall”, and “bestincellphones” are among the many affiliate website names. Though there are many websites that promote free cell phones, people usually decide to use a major established company by the time their research is done.
Which wireless company to go with?
Most wireless services are adequate and offer the same ammenities, although Verizon and AT&T seem to be the preferred carriers. I want to get the best possible free cell phone deal, and I don’t care which company sells it to me. AT&T has smart phones with built-in QWERTY keyboards (either slide out or flip out) and touchscreen features, these phones are available on a lot of fantastic deals and in many cases are free. The ideal configuration would be to have a touch screen and a full keyboard with buttons. In addition, Verizon’s free cell phones offer seemed really intriguing. They have the Droid and some excellent Blackberry choices that are free.
I decided on a plan with Verizon Wireless that offered me a free Blackberry Curve and I placed the order through Wirefly. I will get back to you in the future to let you know how the results of my search for free cell phones turned out.
