I’m done with Apple. Any other alternatives in cell phones ?
The only reason I am reluctant to get another phone is because of the aps that are not made by Apple but made for the iphone, they are so awesome: the level, the lighter, finance & brain game aps…
However I have come to the realization that that’s like the only thing I’m holding onto! The rest of the phone is mediocre. (I lived in Asia for almost 3 years I know what real cell technology is & they are keeping it away from us here in the USA!) I think I got hosed! When I upgraded, my car charger/ipod radio plr & in home bose player no longer work with my 2nd Gen & it doesn’t even take video! $400 worth of stuff that has been collecting dust since I bought this new phone in September.
I understand there are some great phones out now. I am looking for something that takes video is touch screen & has cool applications.
What do you suggest?
Sorry to hear but for the most part you’re absolutely right. I sold my BB Bold to get the i3G and been kickin myself for it ever since. The apps are great but the rest is just blah exactly!
As far as touch screens go on AT&T I can suggest these in the following order:
HTC Fuze – great integrity & craftsmanship
except it has a rather small screen. Also has a pullout keyboard which I don’t care for much.
LG Insight – a much better version of the VU.
Samsung Epix – basically the Blackjack 3 but w/touch.
Samsung Eternity – Samsung’s answer to the iPhone. Biggest screen of the 4 & a 3.2 mp cam but it just feels chincy with 2 plastic buttons on bottom.
I pondered all these 15 days after I bought my iP & because I didn’t want to forfeit screen size & memory I kept it. I’m sure if you wait 5 or 6 mths there’ll be a new telli on the market that will blow the iP out of the water but until then I’ll just use my iP with 47 apps. Every now & then I’ll make a call or 2 hahaha.
